URGENT: How many have transferred H1b based on pending labor?

Situation: 6th yr. expiring 04/2006, labor filed with co. A on 03/2005 & want to switch to co. B

Based on post below, it is possible (A won't cancel Labor petition & job description is similar)

1) Is it most companies policy NOT to do this?
2) How many of you have done this?

I lost 2 great jobs because of this issue & don't want to lose another. I would like to know all the facts so I can make an informed judgement.

Thank You All.
Peace.

I haven't done this, but I'd say it depends on A. A should not only withdraw the LC petition, but also they should respond all the query properly from the authority to keep your LC alive.. So, it is risky to leave the matter at the company you left especially if you are in 6th year.(you know, they may be pissed off since you left...).
