FP : ???
         I have to travel abroad due to emergency. My question is about "Re-scheduling" the Finger Prints. By tracking others and their "RD and ND dates and FP notices, I\'m expecting my FP notice sometime this month. I won\'t be here when it comes. Please also keep in notice that Application support center for "VA" doesn\'t provide the 90 days time to appear. They just give a certain date and month. OR reschedule option. I want to re-schedule it. My 2 questions are as follows :

1) How long does it take to again receive FP notice after "Re-scheduling"? same time like it took for the first time? or faster?

2) While Re-scheduling can one write the preferred date or month he/she will be able to make it?? or something like that?

It depends upon where in VA and which ASC you are going to be finger printed . I did my FP after my Schedule date of FP at norfolk,VA ASC , notice had the 90 days window to do FP in case not able to keep the appointment.. So Make sure where your FP will be done .
 
I don\'t think you have to reschedule your FP.

You can just step into the FP office and tell them your situation and have them FP you early. At least we can do this in Philadelphia.

The FP time is not so critical. If the people in FP center want to help you, you can FP at any time.
 
Don\'t worry if you haven\'t got the notice yet.

If you have, just walk in the FP place with the notice.
Otherwise, if you\'ll be back in, say, 1.5 - 2 months, then you
have nothing to worry about.
