Urgent Help required -> Status issue

Hi Folks,

  These are my details.
RD 06/04/2001 ND 08/06/2001 I-485 and EAD.
Still did not recieve the EAD. AVM says that is has been recieved and will take 60- 90 days. My H1 is expiring end of this month.

Went to Newark to get EAD based on 90 day rule. They asked me to wait and then told me that my file is in Missouire and will have to be transfered to Newark before an EAD could be issued. I am from New Jersey and filed at VSC.

If that does not happen before this month end...I am in trouble. ?
Please let me know if I can just wait and continue working because I have EAD...Do I need to apply for extension of H1. My company is in a very bad shape. I do not want to spend $2000 on a H1 from a company which is going to close soon..Guru\'s do you see any way out here...???

My coworker\'s OPT expired before she got her H1. Her manager put her on training for about 20 days and put a hold on her pay. When she got the H1, he gave her retroactive pay. Don\'t know if your manager would do something like this for you. Just an idea.
