Urgent Help .... Query for long stay at India (6 month)

Hi Everyone....

My visa stamping in passport was upto Oct 2005. I came here at India on 14 April 2005. I stayed almost more then 6 months. I have valid visa upto Nov 2006 but not stamped on passport. I visited Bombay consulate last week and they put my case under Query. They asked the reason to stay in India. I told them for vacation. Then they asked to bring letter from company with full reason about the stay in India.

What should I do now???????

So what was the real reason for your 6 month stay in India?
If it was what you told consulate then you should provide them with the letter from the company.

you should have got your passport stamped shortly after you landed in India. why did you wait so long?

If they asked only for a letter from your employer then go ahead and get it. They should stamp your passport then.

So, why can't you get a letter from your company telling that they've authorized your "vacation" for 6 months or whatever ??

Not sure about the reason for your confusion ??!??
