URGENT Help Needed

My situation is like this -
I applied my H1 extension on June 11 normal processing and still it is pending and my visa has expired on Sep01,2010 and my spouses H4 also expired the same time.

I had applied H4 for my spouse on Jul12 and got a RFE on H4 which is shown on their website that they mailed me on october 15 but I didnt receive it still. I called them on Nov'01 and opened a SERVICE REQUEST for which still I didnt receive any information.
I am worried what will happen to my case. If anyone having this sort of experience or any suggestions which u can share with me it wud be a great relief to me.
Also should I upgrade to Premium for the H1 extension, please let me know ASAP. Thanks in advance

----- I dont understand why you did not apply Spouse H4 extension with your H1 extension? did you attached your H1 extension filing notice reciept copy with h4 extension? USCIS may be asking for Spouse status of H1. wait for the RFE letter and let your lawyer reply.

Employer gave you wrong info. you filed your H1 extension on June 11 and with your H1 papers you could have filed your spouse H4 extension on June 11. what prevented you filing your spouse H4 extension with your H1?

I took the InfoPass appointment and got another SR on Nov 15th, Today in the Mail i got my RFE with a copy of SR, in which USCIS asked my spouse last 3 pay statements and his H1 approval (which is still Pending), the problem now is they have asked me to send a reply by Nov 17th but I got the mail today which is Nov20 I will be sending all the docs by Monday with a letter stating all the efforts i did for reaching them, will this be enuf or do anyone suggest anything else to be done, your advice is really appreciable.

USCIS wants to know the status of your spouse H1 status and if he is working or getting paid. your spouse filed H1 extension that is pending with USCIS. explain the situation on cover letter and attach what is asked. I don't think they will approve your H4 extension as H1 of your spouse is PENDING and H4 is based on spouse H1 status. if they find the file of your spouse H1Ext and they approve his/her H1 then only they will approve your H4 ext. you or your spouse did a mistake by not filing H1 and H4 extension on same date and in same envelope so that USCIS could approve both the cases same time.
if still confused then take the help of your spouse lawyer who filed H1 extension of your spouse.
Update us so that if others are in similar situation they can read the info posted by you related to your H4 extension case.
