Urgent- Help Needed- Reenter US on previous company's Visa

Hello All,

I need your advice on this. I had tranferred my H1 from company A to company B and have gone to India for sometime. I have quit company B and reentered US on Company A visa and have told at the entry that I would be working for Company A.

So, can I work for Comany A? even after tranferring my H1 to Company B?

Would appreciate it if you could reply to this as soon as possible as my Wife's and kid's H4 is stuck at consulate because of this query.

What happened to your wife's and kid's H-4 Visas?

As far as I understand, one can go back to their old employer, if the old employer has not revoked the H-1B petition. Why was your wife's and kid's H-4 Visas stuck at the Consulate? Did the Consulate object to you going back to your previous employer? Have you managed to sort this out now?

Which company's (A or B) Visa was stamped in your passport? Did you get it stamped just before you came to US?
