Urgent help needed. My mother is going to chennai tomorrow for visitor visa. does she need any appointment to go into the office? or she can directly go the consulate and stand in the line?

She can directly go and stand in the queue .

She can go and stand in the queue as early as possible if she is less than 50 yrs,otherwise use the dropbox facility. I would appreciate if you can put a message saying that for how long she got the visa. Since USA has already started to restrict the now-of-days tourist visa be allowed to stay in USA.
