Hello Community,
I need urgent help in following matter. My brother filled I-485 (adjustment of status to permanent resident under section asylee adjustment).
I-485 notice date April 2002 (Filed at Nebraska service center)
Transfer to Texas Service center August 2005
Biometric done- Oct, 2005
RFI (medical & G-325A)- September, 2005
RFA (Request for additional evidence)- Nov, 2005
Address change- Dec, 2006
LUD- March 2007
RFE (Medical)- Sep, 2007
Biometric- Oct, 2007 (Notice sent to old address, letter received late, so missed the appointment).
Updated address again at local biometric office December, 2007 also called 800-375-5283 to update the address.
Biometric done- January 2008
LUD- April, 2008 (letter received)

LUD letter states that we are actively processing this case, and if you don't receive a decision or other notice of action within 6 months of this letter then contact us again.

My brother had received similar letter in September 2007.

I am just wondering how long TSC need to make a decision about his case. He already submitted evidence more than two times.

Can anyone suggest what should he do in this situation? Who should he contact expect 800 number for service center?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
JK

he needs to call USCIS 1 800# and tell them that his case is out of the processing time . and he will get his card soon trust me it did work for me

Or get an Info Pass online and go to the immigration office. The INS workers
are much nicer and efficient now.

dont waste your time by calling 1800 number, they cant do anything else beside doing the service request.
You need to do info pass and so you can ask yourself to the immigration officer there about your case...

Thanks everyone,
I did call service center today, and the customer service supervisor suggested the same to make an appointment in local office.
I have an appointment tomorrow (friday).
Thank for your help
JK
