URGENT Help needed for I-485 filed with ITIN instead of SSN

I filed I-485 for my wife last week on July 18th. She is on H4 dependent VISA and do not have SSN. However I mistakenly typed her ITIN (income tax identification number issued by IRS) number in place of SSN in the I-485 form.

So the situation right now is we have applied her I-485 with her ITIN number instead of SSN.

What kind of problem this can create?

Will my wife at least receive EAD? and what will happen after that?

My priority date is Dec 2006 so if they reject the application then I have to wait as I don't think it will be current soon.

In that case can anyone suggest that should I file another I-485 application with No SSN mentioned before August 17th?

How serious of a issue this is???
 
Don't worry

This should not be an issue. They will figure it out. She will get an EAD. They will NOT reject the application.

Thank you for your reply. Do you think they will issue RFE or is this really a trivial issue. I am more concern because I provided wrong information. Did you or anyone see this kind of situation before?
