Hi, all

My I485 is pending for more than 180 days, I140 approved this March. I have several questions seeking for help:

1, my greencard application is EB12-OR (outstanding researcher).
My new job offer is in academia, a faculty position in a university.
Is AC21 applicable for this change??

2, my employer is not happy about my quit, is there any possibility that they could "damage" my greencard application. As far as I know, after I140 approval, they can not revoke it , right?

3, Based on that situation, should I use EAD card ,or file a H1b transfer, or should I file a new H1b application? If I want to be safe, fiel a H1B transfer, what document should I prepare?

4, I checked this website. after job change, someone file a AC21 letter to INS, is that necessary, what is the pro and con on that.

5, On my case, my new job offer is located in Texas, and my curret greencard is processed in Vermont center. If I submit a AC21 letter, will they transfer my case to Texas center ?

I appreciate any help on my case!!

1. There should be more research component in the job description. See DOL site for your I140 job description.

2. They can send a letter to BCIS and BCIS will generate an employment RFE, all you need to do is respond with the new employment offer letter

3. EAD is still safe. You can also do a H1 transfer. the usual docs

5. Yes that is a possibility. They can also do a local transfer .
