URGENT HELP----H1B to F1

Hi,

I m on an H1B visa which expires in Jun 2009 (6th year).

I would like to convert my H1 to F1. Can I get it done while I m in US? Do I need to go back to India to get the Change of Status?

Will that also take care if I had a dependant on H4?

File for COS for both; you will need I-20 from university. Remember that most graduate programs begin in August so you need to account for that time June to Aug. Remember you can recapture time outside US on vacations.
 
thanks a lot for your response! Do you have any idea how long it takes for F1 & F2 visa approval in USA? Also, is there any premium processing for F1 & F2 visas?
