URGENT Help H1B extension LCA icert issue

:mad::mad::mad:My employer filed online for an LCA on the new portal for an H1B extension application. My current visa expires on August 2. today is July 29.
The LCA was returned saying Federal Tax ID is wrong whereas this is a pre populated field from past and it was not event available for her to fill in. Moreover they have reconfirmed that the tax Id number on the portal is correct.
The employer has written numerous emails and has read receipts. They have now filed a fresh LCA but since my expiration is so close they have decided to send in the petition without waiting for the certification number from the portal.

How will DOL treat the petition without the number? Will they issue an RFE or deny it?
If the fresh LCA is certified can the new number be provided post facto?
Since the original LCA error is disputed (could be a technical error) is that grounds to say that I was not out of status on the expiry of my visa?
What action do you suggest we should take additionally?

Hi,

I have the same issue, the Labor with new icert process keeps getting denied, complaining about the federal tax id number, the DOL have ack the problem but they haven't approved. so to avoid being out of status my lawyer apply H1 extension with the pending Labor. What do you think is going to happen?

I am sorry I just logged in.
I guess your cases would have progressed by now.
I am still waiting for the decision now since we had a further complication. They sent back the petition stating some DOL approval required. That has been resubmitted so lets see what happens now.
