i need your help and advise please. my interview date will be on the next months.
when i filled all my applications DS230 part 1 and part 2 for me and my family i placed place of my birth as indicated in my identity card and in my individual registration sheet ,but i was surprised to find that on my birth certificate i retreived now that the place of birth shown the name of city where hospital i was born
but in this same birth certificate it indicates too my registration biographic information as i filled in all my applications correctly.
does that cause me a problem or delay or refusal , shall i explain to the officer or i must do something now .

In my birth certificate also contained name of city of hospital. my passport had the main town name. I filled all documents according to passport.
It did not create any problems for us.

Well, it really depends on the Consular Officer, but I'd say that it is not going to create much trouble for you. The primary criteria to check for your identity are your name, photograph and your DOB -- if these are in order, you should be just fine. (This is to check for fraud and double entries)

Be prepared to explain to the CO why things are like that though, and you should have a reasonable explanation.

I've known quite a few cases from Nepal where the POB was seriously messed up, but even then as long as the entrants proved that they were born in Nepal, they got the Visa.

Remember, it is not because of being born in a particular place that you qualify for a Diversity Visa, it is because you were born in a partucular (eligible) country.
