My brother-in-law has sponsored for my In-laws for B1/B2 Visitors visa in 2002 and they got visa for only One Year.
Now again we have a family situation where I need to get my in-laws to help us and I was wondering what are my best options ?

1. Can I now sponsor my in-laws ?
2. Will it create any issues as they were earlier sponsored by my brother-in-law ?
3. Should I ask my brother-in-law to sponsor again for them as he has sponsored earlier ?
4. My brother-in-law is planing on bringing his in-laws too sometime in Mid-Next year. Will it create problems for his in-laws as he has recently sponsored for his parents.

Please let me know what options are best as we both are in need of our In-laws next year here in US.

I don't think there is any problem with any of your questions, You can sponsor your in-laws, it won't create any issues. Your BIL can sponsor both his parents and his in-laws

One small thing here could be that if now you sponsor your in-laws and Consulate asks who sponsored them last time and if they come to know that your in-laws have too much family a nice office might give them 10 year visa a bad officer might deny thinking that they have too much family there so might just stay there. So, during interview they have to take enough information that they have enough ties with India and they will come back.

Eventually it all depends on the individual they run into.

Thanks Prem. Actually, my in-laws visited us earlier and they returned in time as per I-94. But I am scared about the bad officer scenario.

Any more advices please....

I think i had seen several Same issues like your were discussed in IMMIHELP.COM. did you get a chance to browse their site forum?

For me, i did not see any problem in that, i think you are fine.

why don't you ask your brother-in-law to sponser this time too. sponsering is nothing but sending invitation letter etc. etc. though you pay the expenses. By this way the officer don't have to think too much.. two cents..

Gorilla,
I will check Immihelp.com and I will also check the forum for previous post.

prasa,
I know that he can sponsor now, but he is just scared that if he sponsor's his parents and then again if he sponsor's his In-laws, there might be a chance that his in-laws case might be questioned.

indianexpert,
If you are not interested to reply, then you should not even view this thread as it is very clear from the Title of the thread that it is a Visitor Visa question. And all members of this forum are smart enough to know what is urgent and important to other concern, so you please don't be the JUDGE
