1. Currently I am on H1B .I changed company one year back,they transfer my visa but they did not transfer my wife & child's visa. I got a notice from INS two week back,they revoked my wife & child's visa .my concern is could my dependant apply for visa ? They are currently out of status .
-------------- till what date your H4 spouse had I-94 validity? if I-94 is expired they need to go out ASAP, get H4 visa stamped then enter. your did a mistake when filed H1 trasfer you should have also filed H4 with your h1 trasfer. it seems old company revoked your H1, how they can revoke H4 of dependents? talk to good lawyer
2. Also my chid's passport is valid currently ,it will expire after 6 month . Can I file for extension of stay ( I-539) for my child ?

3. Do I need to renew child's passport first ?
--------- I think for extension of status passport need to be valid at the time Extension . if they have to get Visa stamp out of US then passport need to be valid more than 6 months when enter US or the I-94 at POE will be valid till passport validity. need more details of your H1 dates and H4 dates and I-94 expiry dates. go to your lawyer
