Urgent H1B Transfer !!!

Hi,
I am currently on my H1 with a consulting firm, my H1 B only started a few days ago(I am on the bench , no pay stubs yet). I have now received an employment offer from another company and I wish to transfer, what are the implications of H1 b transfer, without pay stubs, also if my employer refuses to hand me my H1 B papers to initiate transfer what are my legal rights and lastly if my current employer decides to cancel my H1 B, how much time do I have from the new employer to apply for a H1 B transfer, or will it have to be a new H1 B.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

----- USCIS may NOT transfer H1 with out recent pay stubs, they may transfer it as NEW H1 without I-94 attached and you have to go out get H1 stamp thern get new I-94 and enter
Also if my employer refuses to hand me my H1 B papers to initiate transfer what are my legal rights

------- by law he is supposed to give you your past H1 approval notice I think you have that
and lastly if my current employer decides to cancel my H1 B, how much time do I have from the new employer to apply for a H1 B transfer,

**** if I am in your situation I will work with new employer as client for 2-3 months and will get paid through the present employer and once I get 2-3 recent pay stubs I will file H1 transfer with new employer
