Urgent: H1b Transfer - Change of employer vs Concurrent filing

I am planning to start with a company B. When I talked to the attorney, she mentioned that she is filing the h1b transfer as "Change of employer".

So she mentioned that from the start date that she mentiones, I cannot work for my current employer.

So does that mean that my current H1b is invlidated?

Pl.advice asap.
