I have a real urgent issue here. Tomorrow, I'll be getting company A (consultancy) to file my H1 for this year's Masters Degree quota.
I'm expecting to get an offer from another company in 10-15 days. My dilemma is: Can I transfer my H1 from company A to company B, within barely a month?
This means that officially, I wouldn't have worked with company A - all it would have done is to "sponsor" my Visa. And the minute I get it, I'll have it transferred to B.
Is this workable? The reason I'm in such a hurry to file the Visa is because of the quota, of course - it's filling up faster than ever. So any filing action has to be done NOW.
I would really prefer to get my Visa transferred instead of getting Company B to file another one - wouldn't want to waste all the money for getting it filed via company A! Besides, employers are generally more recpetive to H1 transfers than to filing a new visa from scratch.
Please, puhleeeease enlighten me on this one - will be indebted for it.
And make it quick, will you - I got until tomorrow morning before I hand over my future
