Urgent : Any responses is really appreciated.
-------------------------------------------

My H1-B Visa is getting expired next month and have applied for an extension which might take couple of more months to get the approval.

Mean while, I need to visit India in the month of November and was trying to book an appointment in Chennai Consulate during the month of November (as you know that it takes like 4 months to get an appointment in Chennai Consulate).

But, unfortunately the Web Appointment was asking for my Visa information (WAC number, Visa expiry date) and since I didn't get my Visa approval yet; I tried giving my existing WAC number and Visa expiry date; but then it errors out saying that the appointment date is beyond the Visa expiry date and didn't allow me to get an appointment.

Also, I was also not able to give the newly applied Receipt WAC number, cos the Visa Receipt doesn't have an expiry date on it.

So, I am totally lost here. So, Plz do let me know if any of you faced a similar kind of situation and if there is any way out to get an appointment ? Any responses are really really appreciated.

Thanks !
