Urgent : H1 6yrs , H4 extension

Folks,
My 6th year ends on 19th march and my employer files for my 7th year extension after march 9th(365 day gap). My wife's h4 also ends on 19th march but we are planning trip to india in june , Is it OK to not apply for her extension and then get her h4 stamped when I get my renewed h1b stamped in india in june or sometime. Would she go out of status ? Pls suggest

---------------- Her I-94 expires 19 March, She plan to go out of US in June, she will be staying illegaly AFTER 19 March if she does not file for H4 extension BEFORE 19 march
Is it OK to not apply for her extension
---------Apply her H4 extension with your H1 extension, she has to fill up form I-539 ( ask the lawyer to file her H4 extension in Same envelope with your H1 extension)
and then get her h4 stamped when I get my renewed h1b stamped in india in june or sometime.
Would she go out of status ?
--- YES, if she does NOT apply for H4 extension before her I-94 expires
