Urgent : GC Labor Certification Vs Company ownership change

Hi,

I work for Subsidiary A Owned by Company B. My GC was filed through Company B for the work at Subsidiary A.

Looks like Company B is planning on selling the Subsidiary A to Company C.

1. Any idea what will be the status on my RIR based LC application for my Green Card if I have to start working for Company C but same Job and same Job Location.

2. What will be the status if I move back to Company A ( will be an internal transfer and not a re-hire)

If GC was applied by B then you will have to restart. If it was with A - you are fine.
 
The GC was filed by the Parent Company - B to work at the Subsidiary Location.

Having said this and since GC is always for future employment , can I continue the current GC processing if my job title changes now and work with Company B to change my title to suit GC at a later Date.
 
GC is for a particular job location too! - also the petitioned job no longer exists with B - so I think you will have to restart. This information is based on what I have gathered through trawling though immigration.com, I belive it is pretty accurate, however talk to your attorney if there is a way out.

If workplace where from you have already been filed is "ACTIVE BUSINESS", technically, you are fine for intended future employment.
 
The GC was filed by the parent Company B to work at the subsidiary location A.

Can I re-locate to Location B ( location of parent company A or another subsidiary ) and take up a job at Location B with the same job description . ( Both the locations are in the same State ).

To add Location A will no longer be a part of Company B ( the parent) as the subsidiary at Location A is being sold away.

Will my RIR process still be valid or is it invalid as location A no longer exists?

Can my re-location within the state be considered and not re-do the GC process ?
