please help. I am a GC Holder(Got approved in 2001). I am planning to go to India for about 10 months stay. Is there a time limit on enterning back to US for GC holders? I heard from someone that usually it is 6 months. Do I have to come back in 6 months If I were to maintain my GC Status? but If I want to stay for 9-10 months do I have to take any permission from the INS?
