Urgent! Filing for AOS, Spouse working on practical training

I will be applying for AOS for myself and my husband very soon. My husband is currently working on his practical training. We are not planning to apply for EAD/AP for my husband since his employer has agreed to sponsor his H1-B. This way - in case things don\'t work out for me, I could at least transfer to H4 as my husband\'s dependent.

Anyway - my question is:

Can my husband continue to work on his student practical training after his AOS is filed? He is planning to apply for his H1-B only some time early next year. Anyone out there with a similar experience?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Yes.

Actually his non-immigrant status (now F1, and H1 in the future) doesn\'t conflict his GC application. By law he can maintain the dual-status on I-485 stage.

Only be careful of one thing: be careful not to use the I-485 EAD since using that will break his non-immigrant status which is hard to take back. IT DOESN\'T HURT TO APPLY FOR ONE. YOU MAY NEED THAT!!! For instance in case if he changes the job and his new employer won\'t sponsor his H1-b.
