Urgent: F-1 during I-130 Peinding

Mom filed I-130 for her minor child for two years ago.
A daughter came to the United States with B-2 Vias recently and wants to changes her status to F-1 as she really wants to go to School here, in the U.S.

Does F-1 application affect the pending I-130 case? or Does Pending I-130 affect the F-1 Application?

On the application for the F1 they will ask her: 'Has ever an immigrant petition filed on your behalf'. The answer for her is yes. As you can only get B&F visas if you DON't intend to immigrate, this might create a problem.
 
she has nothing to lose by applying to change her status to F-1. I wouldn't recommend leaving and trying to get a visa.
