URGENT !!! -- EAD question

Gurus Please help!!!

My wifes EAD is going to expire, she is on H4 Visa. She works for a local store, they want her to continue to work even though her work permit expires. The store is not ready to pay her cash or any other means, What are the consequences if she continues to work after the expiration of EAD.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Legally, you are not suppossed to work after your EAD expiration date. Apply for new EAD ASAP and then go to local INS office and try to get the approval the same day.

At times i have read on this post they have given EAD before 90 days of application. Else i guess she has to be on unpaid leave or make a arrangement with employer to pay her later.

same boat

I am on the same boat, but my company says I can work and that they will pay by payslip. Just confused, nobody is giving a clear picture.
 
Local INS does not issue same day renewal unless and until u have crossed 90 days from the Notice date of your EAD renewal form. I checked here.
