URGENT CLARIFICATION NEEDED on I-765 E-Filing

Hi,

I need some clarification on renewing my EAD. I would really appreciate if somebody can give your inputs. Thanks !

1. Is e-filing of I765 advantageous over regular paper filing?

2. In case I go with the I765 E-filing, and I receive a RFE, will I still be eligible to get the Interim EAD at the Service center ( I am filing 120 days ahead of my current EAD expiry)?

3. My husband and I have our I-485 pending at the moment at the VSC. We heard that pending 485 cases are being moved to Nebraska. In the event that I apply for renewal EAD through mail, should I send the application package to the VSC ( our 485 recipt notice has VSC address ), or should I send it to Nebraska service center?

The only adv with efiling EAD is that you get yoru receipt number right away.
However, you have to go for FP and digital pic to a local ASC.

You should mail your supporting documents for efile EAD to the service center where your 485 is pending at the time. It would also be best to mail your supporting doc to both, Nebraska and Vermont service center, in case your case gets moved to Nebraska around the time you have mailed your documents.

I think the same rules would apply, regardless of you paper or efile your 765, regarding iEAD and RFE.
