Urgent: Biometrics question

Hello All,

I have aquestion about my biometrics appointment. It was supposed to be scheduled in Tucson, AZ but I was in Maine for a while and I thought I would go to the office here in Portland and ask them if they can take my biometrics there instead of going all the way to Tucson. Anyway I went to the office in Portland and they captured my biometrics (this is all before I received any appointment letters for my biometrics). However a few days later I received my biometrics appointment letter in Tucson. The issue notice on that letter was 01/20 and I had my biometrics taken in Portland on 01/23 so it was clearly before I got my biometrics done. My question is should I just ignore this letter now that my biometrics are already taken or what?

I'd call CIS ( I think there is a number on your letter for biometrics) and ask them this question.
 
I did, but they said unless the letter says specifically you should ignore it then you shouldn't. This makes no sense to me as they already took my biometrics and even the officer told me in Portland that I don't need to go to Tucson anymore for that!
