[URGENT] B1/H4 visa query

Hello,

Please reply to my query asap. This is very urgent.

My wife got a H4 visa stamped in October. Did not enter US.
She got a B1 visa in November. Did not enter US. (H4 was not cancelled)
Now, she is planning to quit the company which got her B1 and is planning to enter the US on H4.

Is this allowed ?

Normally, the consulate cancels all old visas when applying for the new visa. They did not do it in her case.

Does she have to get the H4 stamped again before entering the US again ?

I think she can enter the US on either status, provided she satisfies the Port of Entry officer of her eligibility of that particular visa. In case she wishes to travel on H-4 status, she needs to carry all the required documentation, marriage photos, certificate etc. and a copy of your H-1B approval notice and petition documents.
