Urgent- AC21-Changed Job

Hi All,

I have a situation where by Company brought over or merger and the lawyer filed I-140 amendment, also said it is ok to file the I-485 with the old I-140 approval and once the I-140 amendment approved, INS will substitute those with the new I-140 amendment. Based on AC21, I changed job after 180days passed, but the I-140 amendment still haven\'t approved yet. Will there be any problem? Please advise......

U might get a RFE...

When you get the RFE, you can send the new employer\'s letter and claim protection under AC21 clauses. So the RFE\'s premise that the company name change (or acquisiiton) 140 amendment has not been approved is irrelevant.
 
AC21 company merger

I am in exactly same situation like your. I know this is pretty old post, but I still wanted to try. Can you please update us on what happened to your case.

I am desperately looking out for an answer for this.
