URGENT - 2 FINGER PRITNS and WEIRD SITUATION

Hi,

I am currently in India. I got my 2nd fingerprints (CODE 2) done in june 7th. Then i came to India(in july) for planned for 5 months.Then my husband received ASC appointment notice for CODE 1 3rd fingerprints for aug 31st.

I was planning to come to US sometime in november. The notice doesn't have any expiry date, but it has reschedule option, and they will send another notice later for date.

1. If i want to reschedule, what will be the timeline i get in StPaul for fingerprints? any one tried in this location?
2. Why did i get Code2 and Code1 in just about 1 month in between?
3. My LUD shows june 8th (1 day after my 2nd fingerprints taken).
4. If i just come to US for fingerprints and come back to India, what are the chances i get my 485 approved, and timeline?


PLEASE ADVISE


PS:
My husband 485 has been approved 1 year back, i was follow to join in the process.
my RD is May 2003

Lady,

Had a similar situation (just completed fingerprints yesterday. It is better to cancel plans upto November and come back and finish off the immi. paperwork. I know that involves spending some money, BUT believe me you DO WANT TO POSTPONE the fingerprinting notice once you have it.
