I entered the DV-2022 as a single applicant, was selected for further processing, and then got married. I filled out the DS-260 and added my husband. On the official Diversity Visa guidelines (travel.state.gov), it says: "When adding family members to your case, you will need to upload a document to prove your relationship to the family member being added."
I found this nowhere on the DS-260 application. Nowhere was it possible to upload a document (like submitting a marriage certificate) to prove our relationship. The guidelines are extremely concise and detailed so I am worried that there was an oversight somewhere. Thanks for any advice, in case someone knows something about this.
