Upgrade of a I130 petition

Hi all,
I had applied for my wife's green card when i was a permanent resident around 3 years ago. I have now become a USC and would like to upgrade her petition and apply for her 485. Here's the problem

When I applied for the initial I130 we lived in Chicago and so the application was sent to the Nebraska service center. We now live in California.

1. What is the process for upgrading her I130 petition and applying for her 485?

2. Are there going to be complications? ie. is the Nebraska service center going to insist on transferrring this case to the California service center and cause additional delay?

3. How long does the process take?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Is I-130 approved? I guess Nebraska approves it in a year or so.

I130 has not been approved. Just have a receipt of the I130 petition

I guess you may file I-485 w/ receipt notice of I-130, then NBC will get the pending I-130 from NSC. I am not sure but I guess there were other post here about filing another I-130, as well.

I am not attorney, this is just general advise.
