Upgrade I-130

Hi,
I applied for my spouse (I-130) as a LPR. The case is not approved yet. I am going to take citizenship oath in 2 weeks and planning to upgrade I-130 as an usc immediate relative status with the NSC. My spouse is still in back home. Would you please share your experience if you have gone through the same situation? Thank you.

You becoming a USC will speed her GC process 100% faster , so get the USC and update I-130 then you all will have an Interview in 8-10 months .

Ashton Kutcher and Sjiwani thanks for your kind reply. My I-130 is still in Nebraska Service Center. So, if I upgrade my I-130 with NSC how long it may take to get approved (I-130 is pending since September, 2002).

i am in the same boat.pending i 130 in vsc .send them a copy of my certificate lets hope for the best
