Updating USCIS

I filed for an OPT extension 6 weeks before and waiting for the approval. One thing I would like to know, when I filed for OPT extension I have provided them my passport and I-94 info. As soon as I filed I had an emergency and had to go back to my country . Now I am back in US with a new I-94. Do I need to update USCIS with a new I-94 ?.
