Updates on Virginia NON-RIR LC

Hi, everyone

My application was filed under the RIR category, and RIR was denied.

How does it work now ? My attorney said that it will now be processed as a non-RIR case, and we went through a series of advertisements and my company also interviewed some people and has sent back the results to the labor department.

What should I expect now, approximately when will my labor be cleared ? My original priority date is October 23, 2001

Thanks in advance for any insight. My attorney is very non co-operative when it comes to giving any information.
 
Non-RIR processing date

Anybody has any idea on the current processing date for VA Non-RIRs? Are they still processing May 2001?

We should not disturb them every week, so that they can work fast on our applications.
 
We will Maintain a non RIR List.

Since Virginia SESA has completed the April backlog, it is better for us to maintain NON RIR List...
Please update 1)ur priority date at Sesa,
2) if it is moved to DOL then add Moved to DOL date

Processing May 05, 2001.

Going really slow. Processed 5 days in one month.

This is really frustrating...

Can't believe that they moved 5 days for May Non-RIR cases! This endless waiting is killing us...

Anything we can do?
 
I just called the 804 number. They are processing March 29, 2002 for RIR and June 29, 2001 for NON-RIR as of Oct 30, 2003.

It appears like they are devoting more resources to process NON-RIR applications in the past few days. This is slowing down the processing of RIR. Note that NON-RIR moved up by about 2 months in the past few weeks.

Since VA is processing JUNE 29 and your PD is June 21, you may have received the notification to run the ads in newspaper. Please keep us posted with your progress. It will give us approx processing time frame for an application.

So far I did not receive any notifications. I will contact my Lawyer on Monday.

One question: will State SESA asks lawyer or company regarding posting ads.?
