Did you get the receipts at ur address or the lawyer would be receiving it.
I haven't got any update from my lawyer yet

called TSC and got mt receipt #s

I did my concurrent filing on 9/19 and did not get my SRC #s for my I 485. I called TSC @ 1 800 375 5283, then pressed option 1, then option 2, then option 6, then option 2, then option 2, and then option 1. You will now be put on hold for approx 30 minutes. Once you get the representative on line you can say that you have not received your SRC #, I was just asked my last name and date of birth and then the USCIS representative gave me the receipt number. Hope you can also get your receipt #s this way.

Concurrent filing of I 485 / I 140 / EAD / AP on Sep 19
RD on all Sep 21
LUD on AP 10/2
AP approved 10/4
 
No receipt - VSC

Filed I-140/I-485 concurrently that reached the USCIS on 09/26/05

G28 issues at VSC

LC on 07/29
140/485 filed at VSC on Sept 14.
Papers have returned to me Sept 24 saying G28 (fax copy)was not original or the Attorney/Petitioner signature is not original. My attorney says thats how he applied for the rest of the people. They all got the receipts.

Papers are sent back to VSC on Sept 27th without G28 this time saying, will send once the receipt arrived.

Checks are not cashed yet / No receipt.

Any comments Please?

Filed on Sept 30

LC approved sometime in first week of Sept, 2005. Filed I-140 + 485 on Sept 30, 2005. Attorney said application made it in time to VSC. But haven't heard from attorney about receipt notice yet. :( Though the checks issued to attorney for filing fees got cleared. Does it mean my application got filed properly ? when should I expect the receipt notice ? will I receive receipt notice and FP notice by mail directly from VSC ?

Hi ,
I have also applied on sept 29th, think my lawyer fedexed it. TSC, shud ahve got it on 30th I guess. Do u think im fine. How do i find out the receipt number?

EB1. So wat is the procedure from here. I have also applied for EAD/AP along with concurrent filing. Please guide.

I wrote check to my attorney and he got it cashed on 10/05, so not sure if he cashed it coz he got confirmation... :confused:

I guess there might be so many applications filed in the last week of September.
Usually this could take a while to send receipt notices. May be by next week we(attorneys) will receive them.
Regarding the checks it depends most of the people will write checks to their attorney, intern he will issue his own checks to DHS on behalf of us.
But some attorneys prefer writing checks directly to DHS.
We wrote checks to our attorney.

So don’t worry guys may be in another 10 days every one will receive their receipt notices.

IF THEY WANT TO RETROGRESS I-485 for India, WHY THEY ARE SENDING FP notice? Does it mean that they will process I-485 received on/before 09/30/2005. Because my FP code 3 notice is dated Oct 2, 2005.
 
Great, that was too quick. I see some fast approvals from VSC also.
I wish you you will get soon your EAD and AP also.
Usually AP will get approve soon. wait for another week so..

Is old LCs priority date portable ?

Gurus,
I've a question. I had applied for LC in Aug 2003 thru one company. The state LC was cleared in Aug 2004 and it was forwarded to DOL. But then I had to change employer in Sept 2004. Now my I recd my new labor thru PERM in Sept 2005. My question is, would my PD be sept 2005 only, or can I use the PD of my ex employer's LC ? I've a copy of state LC approval with old PD on it.
