Update on VSC Query

My 485 ND 08/12/2004 EB2 Lab Sub (09/09/2001 PD) IND
140 AD 10/18/2005

On 09/17/2005 raised query (during that date VSC processing date was moved to 09/14/2004), I had only 2 weeks window open and decided to call VSC and opened query.

Due to that query my 140 got approved and now today got mail from VSC that beecause of non-availibity of Visa # they have put my case on hold.
(Otherwise it is ready to be adjusted)

VSC is monitoring Visa Bulletin and will approve case when my case becomes current. So what I can do is just look at this notice and laugh for next few more months (or years) :-)

Atleast I got answer to my query.

I think that once Visa Numbers becomes available there will be good # of approvals in Jan. Let's see how PD moves ahead.

How long it took for you to get the reply? i raised the query 2 weeks back. i don't see any changes in LUD neither i got reply.

Could you please elobrate, how you reached Customer Service or VSC and under what grounds you initated a query like wise......It will be helpful for others...

You could contact them anytime to ask status about your case. If you have reason like PD, RD, ND, Address change, Date passed for your RD, your friends approval, what is the date they are processing right now as oppose to the date published , etc. etc.
Use one of the following to get to the VSC representative.
National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283
1, 2, 6, 1, EAC#, 1, 3, 4====>> Customer Service Representative -OR-
1, 2, 6, 1, EAC#, 1, 3, 2, 1==>> Customer Service Representative
 
I raised query on 09/17/2005 on that day my 485 ND was more than 30 days behind current published 485 Processing Date on VSC website.
There was no retrogression applicable on that date.
I was just hoping that if I am lucky my case may get approved in those 2 weeks period. Apparently my GC is on HOLD.

On 09/17/2005 date my 485 case was out side processing time hence I was able to raise query


1800 - 375 - 5283

1. Press 1 For English

2. Press 2 For Existing Case

3. Press 6 for Case Status

4. Press 1 for Known Case Status

5. Enter Case Number without "-"

6. Listen till end of message

7. At the end - listen instructions and press 3

8. Press 3 for outside processing time

9. Wait till customer rep comes online



Time To Call : 8 AM - 6 PM EST
