Update on my I-485 Case

Hey everyone,

Just an updated on my case, today I received two emails from USCIS:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On January 5, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.

And....

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On January 5, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.
 
thanks! i have it in my pocket now! it took them less than a week from the day they updated my file to send me all the letters and the card!
 
congrats tributeblinky. I have recently entered the line for the green card as well and I just hope to get it by the summer.
 
thanks GayGuy! you will get it soon, don't worry! have you seen any updates on your case since you filed it? did they they RFI you?
 
you will soon, don't worry! i didn't see any changes until approval to my account since the biometrics were taken! i think the correct timeline for NSC, is 5 months, give or take!
 
Well I hope that it works that way for me too. I called the 800 number and the woman that answered had nothing to tell me.
 
they never do! they see the same information on their system as what you see online! is it outside the processing time of 4 months? if it is, call and pu a service request in. that might give them a nudge. good luck.
 
I am at SRC ( Texas) and they are processing at 4.6 months but i am still within the time though.
