Update from Lamar Smith’s office (member of immigration subcommittee)

We got just a few approvals

Good that we got some approvals.

But they are not that many though.

I do appreciate the work of every one, whether it is senator or congressman.

But we dont want to stop the speed by giving an impression that a lot has been done.

But the fact is "LOT HAS TO BE DONE "

Again, I am appreciative of what has been done and do not have a negative approach.

best of luck to all.

Dear Mr. Smith:

Thank you very much for your help in speaking with other elected officials and USCIS to address the severe backlog situation.
I have noticed the 485 approval rate of TSC increase considerably in the past two weeks. Through yours and others support we hope that this backlog will continue to decrease from the current level of 33 months to 6 months or less.

I am a member of immigrationportal.com which has several thousand immigrants (mostly legal immigrants) as members and I will inform them of your help.

Please post your name in this thread after you send the email.
Thank you.

According to the Consolidation data we are yet to see an increase in processing rate at TSC. So far they are back to the rate at the beginning of 2002.

Don't give up and Let's participate in tr22's campaign.
Our I-485 Litigation has been already informed to TSC Director.
It's a good chance to accelerate the campaign.
