Just wanted to let people that applied for I-485/I-130/I-765 through the Denver local office have had their paperwork transferred to the NBC in Missouri, which seems to take about 10 days to mail out the I-797C (receipt notice).
My timeline:
Feb 24th, 2004 - Handed-in applications to Denver local office
Feb 25th, 2004 - Forms sent by Denver office to NBC Missouri (according to the clerk at the Denver office)
Mar 03, 2004 - I-797C issued for all three applications
Mar 06, 2004 - Received in the mail through USPS
Additionally, I didn't realize the $50 fingerprinting fee had to be sent along with the applications (I figured it was to be done before the interview) - but the NBC requires the $50 to be sent in along with everything. I don't know if its something I missed reading, or if its something new - so check on this before mailing your applications.
Finally, the I-765 applicant requires fingerprinting before an EAD is issued (the I-797C directed me to set up an FP appointment soon).
