Unusual Circumstances

One of my uncles is a US Citizen and after he got his citizenship he had applied for immigration for a few of his brothers and sisters who wanted to come here.

The uncle who was most interested in immigrating passed away last year and this year their visa numbers became current. The issue now is, is there anything that can be done for his two sons (who are around age 18 right now)? What if one of my other uncles would be willing to adopt him (even though I know the max age for that is 16 or something)...

What could be done in this situation?

She is still alive, but since it was my uncle's brother who petitioned him and he is no longer alive, i thought the whole application was null and void including his wife and children. is this not correct?

We were more concerned about his kids if there was anyway they could still come..

Sorry to hear about your loss. With your uncle's demise, his I-130 is null and void too. His wife or sons will not be able to benefit from it as far as I know.
