Unpaid hospital bills

My sister-in law's insurance did not fully pay her 8,000 bill.They paid only half. The hospital took her to collection. My SIL is back home. I heard some hospital's issue a warrant. If so, how would one check that?Are there any online resources to do so?

Few insurance policies pay the entire bill. There are "copays"; she should make arrangements to pay.

Call the hospital. Your sister can settle the bill and then both of you will not have anything to worry about.
