Hi,I had a H1 visa issued in April of 2002 after working on OPT for 1 year and was working on the H1 till Aug '02, when I got laid off. I then applied for a F1 visa to go back to school and have been studying till now. If I were to reapply for a H1 now, would I fall under the new regulations or would I be considered as a current H1 (since I may not be eligible for a full 6 years)? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
