I called the 800 number and an operator answered in maybe 10 seconds....

Too bad they couldn't help me (no information whatsoever)!

Do you play the lottery .. May be today is your lucky day ...get a powerball ticket , and you'd never know ... Good Luck . :)

Funny, I got an answer in about the same time this morning. :) With the new dates posted today, I see I'm out of normal AP processing time, so I asked for a Service request to be opened. Sadly, she tried, but they can only do it if the case is 180 days past ND.

On to the infopass, fingers crossed.

What were you calling about?

I asked them if it was possible to know if an interview notice has been issued already so I could timely apply for AP in case I switch job before Thanksgiving.
I think by Thanksgiving I should have my GC in hand but I don't want to take any chance to either cancel my trip or refuse a new job (canceling my H1B) because of the impossibility to travel.

If you really want to know the answers to those questions an Infopass appointment I think would be better. The National Hotline seem to have about the same or less information than you can get yourself off the USCIS website.

Yeah, I just made one for Aug 15. Should I get my notice before, I'll cancel it.

Good luck with that. I have a nasty feeling that as you're only 50 days into thee process at that point, they'll probably give you some line about needing to wait until you're 30 days past the processing date though.

I hope not, because at that point I'd be curious as to how things are going given as we have a very similar timeline.

I'm just gonna ask some info in order to act timely. I'm not gonna go complain that I haven't received an interview notice after 50 days.
I hope they won't misunderstand me.

I just posted this on another thread, so sorry for being repititious, but I just called the Call Center as well. Lady was very nice and understood what I was saying about the slow-moving timeline for EAD approval and that my District Office was processing notices well after my RD, while NSC was so behind that it'll be Christmas before we get an EAD <g>. She told me to call back on day 75 from Receipt Date and they would start the process of "looking into it". That's only 7 days away for me.
