Unbelievable - New TSC AILA Report

I am not surprised. I-140 cases filed in late 2004 are getting approved, consistently.

My only worry is quick approvals of too many I-140 cases might cause huge backlog for I-485. And with retrogression, it surely will impact processing time for all the categories.

A scary thought

mhsoor,

You are right in your thinking. TSC seems to be piling up approved 140s and 485s seem to be lagging behind. Soon there will be a huge 485 backlog. There is no sense to anything these guys do, either they will not process anything for a long time or they will process one part so fast that the other parts get screwed over. I just hope all of us get out of this mess soon.

Really I don’t care about backlog in I-485, At least after approved I-140 they can change employer and can achieve some freedom after being dependent from only one.
140 ----> RD : 9/30/2004 waiting

Agree with Rasikha

I aggree with Rasikha.

People who got their 140 approved, should always remember, what would have happend, if they would not have received their 140 approved.

So, be patience and pray for others too..

Something is better than nothing

All,

I guess getting the 140 approved is better than not getting anything approved. I am happy for the recent 140 approvals but they will no doubt cause a backlog in the future. Its just an observation. If it were upto me everyone would be approved fairly quickly :)

Not sure if this is entirely true!!

I know that TSC has recently been processing cases from Nov 04, but there are still people that have filed much earlier that are still waiting. In a way it is nice to see a lot of fast approvals for 140's, but I wish they were would work on the applications of folks who have been waiting longer now. I know that TSC just started working on my application, as I got a RFE, but also I believe there are people ahead of me also who have been waiting for approvals/processing on their applications. Wish they went in order!

I guess yours will be approved under the concurrent adjudication thing - so I believe that you are better off than the others who have only got their 140 approved, and have not received any FP...So complain less, and live you life...
