Unapproved I140 because of concurrent processing

Please post your details below if you are in the same boat as me.

My situation is
I140 has not been approved even though the date is well past the processing times. The reason is that I140 has not been processed because it was being processed concurrently with I485. But now due to retrogression & visa unavailability I140 should be adjudicated and hopefully approved separately. I want to know if I have company or am I alone :( ?

You applied in 2005. People from 2004, 2003 and even 2002 are still waiting. You still have sometime to wait.

There was a memo sent out that says that the 140 can be processed without having to wait for the 485, so you will most likely receive an approval for your 140 this summer at the earliest.

- UPDATE -
I just realized that I was posting to the TSC forum and not NSC. So my 1st paragraph may not apply, sorry about that. The 2nd one is still valid though.

I-140 approved

I-140 RD : 10/27/2003 AD : 07/01/2004
I-485 RD : 02/21/2004 AD : ????
EAD and AP are approved 6 months back
Finger prints done on 10/14/2004.

I went to congressman in arizona. INS sent reply saying that they are waiting on my security check results. God knows when they will come.

My lawyer told me that even though I applied I-140 and 485 separately, they will consider concurrent because, I-140 is not approved by the time my 485 is filed. I am happy that my I-140 is approved. Now even if my company lay me off, I can find job in another company.
 
You surely must be in a minority - the concurrent adjudication process was cancelled a long time ago. You should follow up with USCIS on your 140 - they cannot and should not wait to process them simultaneously.

Since your I-140 approved recently, how did you contact congress man regarding I-485. Can you contact . I have no idea could you tell us the procedure
