Unable to make FP appointment ( VSC NJ ). Please advise.

I leave for India in a week and will be returning a week after my scheduled FP date. Do I -
1. Mail in my FP notice with a request for reschedule? ( This is the procedure on the FP notice ).
2. Go to the Newark office now and ask to get FP done or reschedule.
( Is FP earlier even possible? )
2. Go to the Newark office on my return and ask to get FP done or reschedule.

Appear before travel !

Go to Finger printing office before 7 AM and appear for FP. Don\'t call them, if you do so they won\'t allow. I know a friend who did like this...
