This is the situation:
I live in Fremont,CA and applied in CA Serv Center for I-751 and was approved, but my Un-conditional GC was mailed to OLD Address. Of course, I moved, so i got nothing now.

• 5/31/2006: My un-conditional Green card (through I-751) was approved.
• 7/18/2006, I updated the following new address with California Service Center on the same month
- They update the address for me nicely and are aware of the I-751 status. I also filed AR-11 to change my address in the same month.
• 8/4/2006, the green card was mailed to my OLD address per USCIS. But I do not have it because I moved.
-Today is 9/15/2006

What is the best way to locate the Green card, and mail to my new address?

A)Do nothing. Wait for it to be returned and to re-mailed to my new address.
B) Apply for G-731 (Inquiry About Status of I-551 Alien Registration Card ) to locate the green card. ( Because the I-90 application has a 7-8 months backlog)
C)I-90 (Application to Replace Permanent Resident)to issue a greencard that is never received.
D) Apply for both G-731 and I-90 at the same time
E) Your advise

hi Ginnu
Thank you and Yes, I have the emails from 2 USCIS Officers, dated 7/18/06 (CA Service Center + 1800# Officer). They updated the address for me. And confirmation letters, dated 8/2/06 for AR-11 to prove it.

My goal is to get my 10 years card ASAP. Does the above evidence help to speed it up? Can i apply for both I-90 and G-731 at the same time or will i mess it up? (If so, I shoudl mail the 2 applications to G-731 or I-90 address)

Thanks again

***********yes attach the copy of evidence and write to USCIS service center with your name, DOB,A# and also file G-731 then wait (send with certified return reciept G-731 in separate letters and to find out the GC or to send the GC to correct address.
