UK Transit Visa

I am planning to travel India in May 2005. I have AP and expired H1b stamp on PP but Valid H1b approval. Planning to USE AP.

I am planning to apply for Transit visa for UK. Anyone have information about that.

if anyone can send me list of documents, FEE, Address where to send, how many week they take to process for transit visa.

Validity of Transit visa

I checked one the my friend who got transit visa. he has given just for 3 month. I am planning to stay for 2 months and applying before 1 month. so it cross more then 3 months. it there any way we can get more than 3 months
