Here is my Case.
I was working with Company A from July 2000.
They are the first sponsor of my H1 Visa.
And in June 2002, Company B, need someone full time, so they asked me to join as full time and Promised to transfer H1 Visa.
But somehow, because of misUnderstanding, they are not aware of the H1 Process, they did not file till October 2002.
As I was busy with my new project, i did'nt check with them ( my fault, i agree), and they paid for June, July, August, September under their payroll. Using my SSN, they directly paid me.
After coming to know in October about this, i made Company A to sign contract with Company B, after that they are paying to Company A and i m getting paid by Company A from November 2002.
Adding to that, Company B has given W2 for the four months in 2002 i got paid. I have no other choice, (for the year 2002), i filed two W2 forms for my Tax with IRS.
As my H1 Visa expired in Jan 2003. I renewed my Visa and Stamped in chennai on July 2003.( i filed renewal by Company A in December 2002).
My new H1 expires in Jan 2006.
So I filed now for transferring to a new company and planning to file GC. I do not want any issues with GC, so can you advise me how to correct this issue.
